Emporia Police are seeking assistance from the local community in locating a missing two-year-old.
According to EPD, the child, two-year-old Kyrese Cabrera-Downs, is a mixed-race white and black male weighing approximately 25 lbs with brown hair and eyes. Kyrese was last seen with his grandmother Jessica S. Downs and possibly Nathan Shown wearing a red Thomas the Tank Engine pajama shirt and blue pajama pants.
Downs is a white female, 41 years of age, 5’8” 165 lbs, with blue eyes and blonde hair. Authorities believe she may be driving a black or dark-colored 4 door passenger car with a rounded body, however, the make and model of the vehicle are unclear at this time.
Shown is a white male, 39 years of age, 5’11” 180 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
Emporia Police are currently investigating the case as a missing child case and believe Downs, and possibly Shown, may be traveling to Augusta, KS. An AMBER Alert has not been issued as there is no indication of abduction or imminent threat of danger to the child.
