17th District Senator Jeff Longbine of Emporia has more work ahead of him this legislative session.
Senate President Ty Masterson has announced Longbine as vice chair of the Pensions, Investments and Benefits Joint Committee. He is chairing the Financial Institutions and Insurance committees. He is also on the Federal and State Affairs Committee.
The legislative session begins Monday. KVOE News will have updates with Longbine and other lawmakers representing Lyon County throughout the session.
