Wichita States 5 game winning streak came to an end Wednesday night. #11 Houston outscored the Shockers 70-63.
Wichita State held a 31-25 lead at halftime but a 16-0 run in the 2nd half allowed Houston to turn a 10 point deficit into a lead they would not give up.
The Shockers were led by Tyson Etienne who finished with 25 points and Dexter Dennis who scored 18 points.
Wichita State is now 6-3 for the season and 2-1 in the American Athletic Conference. They are scheduled to host Cincinnati Sunday afternoon.
