A suspect who has been at large in connection to a shooting and home invasion robbery from last fall is now in custody.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office announced the capture of 24-year-old Lance Sutton Wednesday morning. Sutton was apprehended in Sedgwick County, however, additional details on his arrest are currently pending.
Sutton is one of three suspects in what police say are a connected shooting at Linn and Whildin and an alleged robbery at 9 South Rural in late October. Another suspect, 21-year-old Kenneth Hopkins, was apprehended in late October and is charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and an alternate count of criminal trespass.
Co-defendant Marcos Diaz, 24-years-old, remains at large at this time. Diaz is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds.
