Discussions about extending Lyon County’s COVID-19-based disaster declaration will take place at Thursday’s County Commission action meeting.
The current declaration runs through Thursday and is designed to ease the process for obtaining federal reimbursement dollars and state assistance.
In other business, commissioners could approve over $34,000 in audit fees for Agler & Gaeddert and a roughly $130,000 premium to the Kansas Workers Risk Cooperative for Counties. Commissioners will also preside over a presentation of the Chief’s Silver Award to Lyon County Deputy Jason Gifford and part-time deputy Rick Moore.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
