Wintry weather now looks like it may an impact off and on all week.
A storm system will bring light snow and freezing precipitation Tuesday morning before changing to rain in the afternoon. Rain could then change back to snow and freezing rain Tuesday night before leaving the area Wednesday morning.
A winter weather advisory covers Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties from 6 am to 1 pm Tuesday. A separate advisory is up for Chase and Greenwood counties from 3-11 am.
Another storm system could bring snow to the area Friday, but further details on that episode won’t firm up until later in the week.
