Wabaunsee County authorities are asking residents to check their vehicles after several recent burglaries.
Sheriff Rob Hoskins says several vehicles in the Maple Hill area have been broken into, with firearms taken in some cases. Vehicles with keys inside were stolen.
So far, there are no other reports of this kind of activity recently but the alert is countywide. Hoskins is asking residents to lock their vehicles and make sure the keys are removed.
