Kansas State scored the games first 6 points and never trailed on the way to a 70-46 win over Jacksonville Monday afternoon.
Coach Bruce Weber said they took a step in the right direction.
The Wildcats had 3 players score in double figures led by Nijel Pack with 16 points.
DaJuan Gordon finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Mike McGuirl added 12 points.
The Wildcats improve to 4-5 for the season. They are off until December 29th when they host Omaha.
