Lyon County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Director Jennifer Millbern has some suggestions to work around coronavirus this holiday week.
Millbern says a lot of Lyon County’s overall stats are trending lower since the nearly month-long spike in cases in November, but positive cases per 100,000 people and test positivity rates are still well above levels considered safe by Public Health.
Lyon, Greenwood and Osage counties will likely make their next announcements on COVID-19 stats Monday. Chase and Morris counties may do likewise or wait until Tuesday.
