Even Santa Claus has to be socially distanced these days.
Recognizing that reality, the David Traylor Zoo, Emporia Main Street and KVOE came together to give the community a new holiday event Friday — Cruisin’ With Santa, which had people going to Jones Park so kids could wave at Santa and receive candy canes through special holiday tubes.
Over 350 vehicles went through Jones Park for the two-hour event.
