The Kansas driver’s license office at Flinthills Mall is closed.
The Department of Revenue has shut down the office and all operations due to suspect coronavirus exposure. Currently, the office is set to reopen Dec. 28. The Revenue Department is following cleaning guidelines as outlined by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. No other details will be released.
Customers with appointments are asked to email KDOR_EmporiaDL@ks.gov to reschedule those visits. Office staffers are also reaching out to customers to reschedule appointments.
The Revenue Department says all driver’s license and ID cards expiring between March 12, 2020 and Jan. 26, 2021 need to be renewed by Jan. 26. Residents can also use iKan to renew their driver’s licenses online. The web address is www.iKan.ks.gov, and residents can also download the iKan app free of charge.
