Emporia’s Grace United Methodist Church is launching a new holiday effort Saturday.
The church will debut Hamgiving at 10 am. Pastor Brenda Ulrich says it’s a way to bring joy to the community at the end of a very rough year.
Residents will get one Fanestil Party Time Ham per vehicle while supplies last.
This is a drive-thru event at the church parking lot. Residents will enter the lot from State Street and exit on South Avenue. Residents also need to wear masks and be socially distant as volunteers hand out the hams.
