The Emporia State mens basketball team finally gets to play their home opener Thursday night when they host Lincoln.
The Hornets have not played since November 28th.
Senior guard Austin Downing says they are ready to play.
The Hornets are 3-0, Lincoln is 3-2 going into the game.

Tip-off at White Auditorium is set for 7 pm. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9. With coverage beginning at 6:40p.
Emporia State announced yesterday that they will make up the postponed game with Central Oklahoma on December 30th with tip-off at 4 pm.
The Emporia State women remain in COVID protocol. Their next scheduled game will be January 2nd at Fort Hays State.
