(k-state) Kansas State used a balanced scoring effort, with four players in double figures, and clutch free-throw shooting to snap a 10-game road losing streak, as the Wildcats opened Big 12 play with a 74-65 win over Iowa State on Tuesday night.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they did what they needed to do to win.
DaJuan Gordon paced the team in both scoring with 15 points and rebounds 11.
The Wildcats are scheduled to host Baylor Saturday.
