The Kansas City Chiefs clinched their 5th consecutive AFC West Division Championship with a 33-27 win over the Miami Dolphins Sunday.
The Chiefs scored 30 unanswered points after trailing 10-0.
Tyreek Hill scored on a 32-yard touchdown run, Patrick Mahomes threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce and a 44-yard pass to Tyreek Hill. Mecole Hardman returned a punt 67 yards and a safety gave the Chiefs a 30-10 lead. The Dolphins did make the game interesting scoring 14 unanswered points to cut the deficit to 30-24.
Harrison Butker added a 46-yard field goal to seal the win.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid says they need to close out games better.
Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 396 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions, said it took a team effort to win the game.
The Chiefs also take over the number 1 seed in the AFC after the Buffalo Bills defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-15.
The Monday night game has Baltimore at Cleveland. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
