If you haven’t enrolled for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, time is running short.
The enrollment deadline is Tuesday.
Residents can go online to www.healthcare.gov to enroll and, if they already have plans, research current options and possibly change their coverage. First-time customers will need to create an account before enrolling.
Open enrollment started Nov. 1. Plans finalized by Tuesday will start Jan. 1. Residents that don’t enroll by Tuesday will need to qualify for what’s called a special enrollment period to get coverage for next year.
