Part of the Osage City Police Department’s recent investigation into the theft of a commercial truck and vehicle batteries has been resolved.
On Saturday, the department announced the recovery of an AgChoice F350 flatbed truck in Franklin County after Ottawa Police found the truck abandoned near a mobile home in that city. Among the items found inside were six stolen vehicle batteries, a hammer drill and a plasma cutter.
This follows the reported theft of two vehicle batteries early Nov. 27 and the reported theft of the truck from Osage City’s AgChoice facility between Nov. 25-30. Suspect information has not been announced.
