USD 253 parents and patrons are encouraged to be part of the early selection process for the district’s new superintendent.
The district has emailed a short survey requesting feedback on desired characteristics for the next superintendent. It’s tentatively set to close Jan. 21.
This is part of the early stages of the superintendent search after Kevin Case suddenly resigned Nov. 20. Once the survey ends, a selection committee will go through the different desired characteristics and prepare for the application window to close Feb. 5. Interviews are currently slated to begin Feb. 15.
Interim Superintendent Allison Anderson-Harder has said she plans to pursue the permanent position.
