The Kansas State men were not able to rally losing to UNLV 68-58 Saturday night.
UNLV jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back. Kansas State did tie the game 3 times but never took the lead. The Wildcats did cut the deficit to 3 with 5:55 to play but UNLV went on a 8-0 run to put the game out of reach.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they need to start finishing plays.
Mike McGuirl led Kansas State in scoring with 17 points.
The Wildcats fall to 1-3. They are next scheduled to host Fort Hays State Tuesday night in a late add to their schedule.
