Lyon County deputies are asking residents for help in finding the owners of what’s being called “household debris” after a recent find near Emporia.
Deputies say a couch and other debris was found in the 1600 block of Road P, just east of Emporia, on Nov. 23. A social media post says, “our roadways are not the landfill and must be taken care of to ensure safe travel environments for all.”
If you know the owners or possible owners, you’re asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 341-3205 or Lyon County Crime Stoppers at 342-2273.
