The Emporia High boys and girls wrestling teams open their seasons Saturday.
The boys will be going to Leavenworth.
Senior Carter Garza will be wrestling at 195 pounds.
The Emporia High girls will be hosting a tournament.
Trinity Ervin will be one of the Lady Spartans wrestling.
Both Carter and Trinity appeared on the Wednesday morning newsmaker 2.
The JV boys wrestling team will also be hosting a tournament.
No fans will be allowed.
