The Emporia State womens basketball team is receiving more early season recognition. They are ranked 11th in the Division 2 Sports Information Directors preseason national poll.
Central Missouri is the only other MIAA team in the top 25 they are tied for 21st.
Drury is ranked number 1.
In the Central Regional preseason poll the Lady Hornets are number 1 ahead of Minnesota Duluth. Central Missouri and Nebraska Kearney are 3 and 4. Fort Hays State is ranked 7th. Central Oklahoma is 10th.
