Water line work is coming to parts of Emporia starting next week.
Water line improvements are coming along Elm Street from West Sixth to Newman Regional Health. Another work zone will be Ninth from Elm to Lawrence.
Drivers will have to work through lane shifts and closures while the construction continues through the winter months. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes and use caution as they move through work areas.
