Emporia State University Tuesday has announced that the next 3 mens basketball games have been postponed due to COVID protocol.
The team is being quarantined for 14 days.
Thursdays game against Newman, Saturdays game against Central Oklahoma and next Thursdays game at Rogers State will be rescheduled.
On Hornet Talk Monday mens Coach Craig Doty said they want to try and keep everyone safe.
Emporia State womens Coach Toby Wynn has tested positive, he is experiencing no symptoms and is asymptomatic.
No players or other members of the womens team tested positive.
Assistant coach Kiel Unruh will serve as interim head coach during Wynn’s isolation.
The womens games will be played. Thursdays game vs Newman will tip-off at 6pm. Saturdays game vs Central Oklahoma will tip-off at 1:30p.
