Area residents have some great odds to both support Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters and win some tremendous prizes at the same time.
A state-wide raffle fundraiser is currently underway all to support the organization’s efforts across Kansas. Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters offers one-on-one mentoring for children in need of a strong positive role model.
Bigs are matched with littles based on similar interests, goals, personalities, and other criteria to help foster a long-lasting and impactful friendship. Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Lyon County Director Dena Russell Marino says the children who take part in the program see a number of benefits not only in their youth but well into adulthood.
