Kansas State jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never trailed on the way to a 62-58 win over Missouri Kansas City Monday night.
The Wildcats did have to hold off a 2nd half rally by UMKC to get the win.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber was happy to get the win.
Nijel Pack and DaJuan Gordon both finished with 14 points to lead the Wildcats in scoring.
The Kansas State is now 1-2 for the season they are scheduled to host UNLV Saturday night.
