Most area counties made their post-Thanksgiving COVID-19 reports Monday.
Chase County added 19 cases over the past week and now has 187 total, including 88 community cases, 17 at Chase County Care and Rehab and 82 at the Detention Center. Only 14 cases are active, with 11 in the community and the other three at the Detention Center. There have been three deaths.
Greenwood County added 24 new cases since Wednesday and now has 227 total. There are now 33 active cases. One person has died. The County Courthouse in Eureka is now open by appointment only until further notice.
Morris County added 42 cases since early last week and now has 205 total. The active caseload went from 20 to 44. There is one confirmed death and one awaiting final information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment
Osage County added 60 cases over the past week and now has 484 total. The active caseload, however, went from 120 to 71. Six people have died.
