Salsa St. Mexican Grill will be closing its doors in mid-December.
The closing was announced on the restaurant’s official Facebook page Monday afternoon. The post read, “We have made the decision to close Salsa St. Mexican Grill within the next couple of weeks. We would like to invite those that have valid gift certificates to redeem them within that time.”
The exact date for when the restaurant will close has not yet been announced. The post would go on to “wish the Lopez Family (co-owners of Salsa St) well with their new endeavor at 1120 Commercial St. in the new year.” Word as to what that new endeavor may be is currently pending.
The business opened in Emporia back in February of 2017 and has been in its location at 1120 Commercial Street since that time. Details as to why the business has decided to close its doors are not available at this time.
