Lyon County Public Health noted another sharp drop in active COVID-19 cases Monday.
The active caseload dipped from 563 last Wednesday to 449 Monday after Public Health announced 149 new cases since last week with 291 new recoveries. The overall caseload increased to 2,486 cases since late March.
The death toll remained steady at 47. Active hospitalizations for Lyon County rose from 13 to 17.
