Lyon County’s Friendship Meals program is making adjustments due to coronavirus.
Friendship Meals has suspended its operations, including meal deliveries, for both Monday and Tuesday due to coronavirus exposure. Further details are pending.
The Friendship Meals program delivers meals to around 170 homebound seniors as well as frozen meals for evening meals if the seniors choose. Delivery drivers have been supplied with masks, gloves and hand sanitizers for their trips during the pandemic.
