For those curious as to how Evergy’s new Sustainability Transformation Plan will work and the effects it will have, the Kansas Corporation Commission is offering a series of informational workshops over the next several months.
The series of virtual seminars will begin in December and continue through May. The list of topics will include grid modernization investments, operational efficiencies, enhanced customer experiences and a presentation discussing the plan following its official launch.
The seminars come as the KCC launched an investigation into Evergy’s STP to evaluate whether the plan is in the best interest of the general public. Each seminar will have Evergy representatives available with a time for questions from KCC Commissioners and intervenors in the general investigation docket.
