Following three hours in executive session Monday evening, the USD 253 Board of Education adjourned with no action taken.
The only known fact about the session is that the discussions centered on “personnel,” however, no specific details have been released. Following the board’s special session, USD 253 Board President Mike Crouch stated he could not offer comment on the meeting except to say that more information will be made available in the “coming days.”
His comment mirrors a statement made by Crouch following a similar session Friday afternoon.
During Friday’s special session the board agreed to a separation between then-Superintendent Kevin Case and the district after Case tendered his resignation effective immediately. At this time, no interim superintendent or candidates for the superintendent position have been named.
The USD 253 Board of Education is next scheduled to meet for a regular session on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
