The 78 members of the Kansas State High School Activities Association Board of Directors will be voting on a proposal to delay the start of winter sports season Tuesday.
The proposal was approved by the Executive Board last week.
Emporia High Athletic Director Curtis Simons is a member of the board of directors, was on the Monday Morning Quarterback.
Mr. Simons says this will be a difficult decision.
Mr. Simons says there is no clear cut answer.
If approved the first date that high school winter sports team will be able to compete will be January 15th.
The vote will be held Tuesday afternoon.
