Coronavirus has forced the closure of Coffey County Lake.
The Sheriff’s Office says the closure is due to staff matters, but at this time it’s unclear whether this is for quarantine or infection. Regardless, the lake will be closed until further notice.
So far, no other public facilities in Coffey County are closed due to COVID-19 at this time.
