USD 386 Madison-Virgil is planning a longer Thanksgiving break than normal, and coronavirus is the reason why.
Superintendent Stu Moeckel says the district will not resume classes Nov. 30 after the scheduled Thanksgiving break, and it won’t have classes on Dec. 1, either.
The goal is to resume classes Dec. 2.
Moeckel is urging families to follow state guidance on beating the virus, including mask use, social distance and good hand hygiene.
