The debut of Lyon County Public Health’s new coronavirus tracking dashboard Monday came with the same trend of increased cases seen the past three weeks.
Public Health announced 64 new cases from Saturday to Monday, based on Monday’s dashboard totals. Active cases, meanwhile, rose by 63 — again, based on Monday’s dashboard. There are now 571 active cases, up almost 500 since Oct. 26. Overall cases now stand at 1,883.
The dashboard has 41 deaths and two active hospitalizations for Lyon County residents.
The dashboard, which is now being released Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays instead of weekdays, features most of the same data in the original web page in place since April, but it offers a different look at recoveries, positive tests, negative tests and hospitalizations. The dashboard does not include cluster information, and Public Health is no longer announcing cluster numbers or categories because of the rapid increase in community spread.
