A second financial institution in Emporia is having to adjust operations due to coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Emporia State Federal Credit Union said it was closing its main branch at 310 West 12th through the weekend due to an “abundance of caution’ and increased coronavirus numbers. On Friday, Community National Bank followed suit by closing its Industrial Road branch “for the protection of our associates and the public.” A social media post by the bank did not specify when the branch will reopen.
Customers are being directed to the Merchant Street location to conduct business while the Industrial Road branch is closed.
