Athletics and extracurricular activities will be allowed to continue after the Emporia, USD 253, Board of Education voted Wednesday night to transition into remote learning for most students beginning on November 23rd.
Practices for the winter sports are scheduled to begin November 16th. That would be for Girls and Boys basketball, Girls and Boys Wrestling and boys swimming.
The first basketball games are scheduled for December 4th. The first girls wrestling tournament is scheduled for December 3rd. The first boys wrestling tournament is scheduled for December 5th.
The first boys swim meet is scheduled for December 3rd.
