The Kansas City Chiefs held on for a 33-31 over the Carolina Panthers Sunday.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid, who earned his 230th career win, called it a good team win.
Patrick Mahomes threw 4 touchdowns passes as the Chiefs over came a 17-13 halftime deficit and held on after a missed field goal as time expired for their 8th win of the season.
Mahomes threw two touchdown passes to Tyreek Hill and scoring passes to Demarcus Robinson and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
That gives Mahomes 101 career touchdown passes. Becoming the quickest quarterback to reach that mark. Mahomes beat Hall of Famer Dan Marino’s mark for fewest games to 100 career touchdown passes – Mahomes did it in 40, Marino in 44.
The Chiefs take a 8-1 record into the bye week. Their next game will be November 22nd at Las Vegas.
