Chase Elliott won the final NASCAR Cup series race of the season at Phoenix Raceway and earned his first Cup Series championship.
Elliott won by just over 2 seconds over Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano. The fourth championship-eligible driver Denny Hamlin finished fourth.
Clint Bowyer in his final race finished in 14th place.
