Members of the Emporia State womens and mens basketball teams spent 24 hours beginning Saturday at noon making Buckets for Breanna.
The Lady Hornets and Hornets combined to make 10,441 free throws.
Laura Garcia Laffitte was the final Lady Hornet to shoot free throws.
Kong Kong was the final Hornet to shoot free throws.
Lady Hornet Coach Toby Wynn was the one who came up with the idea for the fund raiser.
Hornet Coach Craig Doty said it felt good to help out
Breanna is a 3 year old battling leukemia. Her father Darren was moved by the support.
The total raised is yet to be determined.
