A Wichita man suffered potentially serious injuries after a crash near Miller on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened shortly before 9:15 am on US Highway 56 about 1.5 miles west of Miler. Eli O’Brien, age 35, was eastbound when his car left the highway for currently unlisted reasons. The car rolled through a barbed wire fence before stopping in a ditch.
O’Brien was taken by ambulance to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka for treatment. He was the only person in the car and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
