The Olpe Eagles rolled to a 53-0 win over Jackson Heights in the regional round of the 1A State football playoffs Friday night.
After being held to a field goal in the 1st quarter Olpe scored 35 2nd quarter points.
Jordan Barnard caught two touchdown passes a 6 yard reception on 4th and goal.
And a 20 yard reception.
Barnard returned two interceptions for touchdowns 1 of 38 yards and 1 of 35 yards.
Quarterback Damon Redeker scored on a 1 yard run just before halftime. He added a 5 yard run in the 3rd quarter.
Kynden Robert scored on a 35 yard run in the 3rd quarter to close out the game.
Coach Chris Schmidts’ Olpe Eagles improve to 9 and oh. They will host Uniontown next Friday in the Sectional round of the playoffs.
