The Emporia State womens and mens basketball teams will be working on their free throw shooting this Saturday and Sunday. The two teams will be making “Buckets for Breanna”.
Beginning Saturday at noon and going until Sunday at noon the Emporia State basketball teams will be shooting free-throws to raise funds to benefit 3 year old Breanna McBride who was diagnosed with leukemia in September. She is the daughter of Darren and Victoria McBride.
Emporia State womens coach Toby Wynn came up with the idea.
Emporia State mens coach Craig Doty said they were more then happy to help out.
Each player will shoot free-throws for 1 hour.
A GoFundMe page has been also set up to help the McBrides and can be found at: www.gofundme.com/f/battling-with-breanna.
Donations can be made based on the number free-throws made or as single donation.
All 24 hours will be streamed on kvoetv at kvoe.com.
