Monday morning’s fire at an Emporia mobile home will go down with an undetermined cause.
The fire at 306 Melody Lane was reported around 4 am and caused heavy fire damage to the east end of the trailer along with smoke damage throughout the structure. Firefighters have said the blaze started in a bedroom.
One person inside the home at the time of the fire was hurt and was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment. The nature and severity of those injuries has not been announced.
