While it was considerably lower than days past, Lyon County still saw another double-digit increase in COVID-19 cases Tuesday.
Public Health reported 18 new cases bringing the overall total to 1,381 cases since mid-March. With four recoveries and 14 new active cases the active case number rose to 182.
The number of deaths remains at 41 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Colleges and Universities: 1 active cluster, 82 total cases, 12 active cases, 0 deaths
Schools: 3 active clusters, 32 total cases, 17 active cases, 0 deaths
Gatherings: 1 active cluster, 6 total cases, 6 active cases, 0 deaths
