Coffey County Research and Extension and the Coffey County Conservation District are inviting residents to a special Sericea Lespedeza Field Day on Thursday.
Area producers can go to the Coffey County Extension plot at Kansas Highway 58 and Kafir Lane, or seven miles south of Burlington, and look at seven different chemical and burn control treatments for sericea and also get more information about controlling Old World Bluestem. A free chili lunch will be provided.
