Chase Elliott cruised to an impressive victory over Ryan Blaney Sunday in the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway — earning a position in next week‘s NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 season finale.
With his victory Elliott joins Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski in the Championship Race at Phoenix this coming Sunday.
Kevin Harvick who won 9 races this season was eliminated from Championship contention. Harvick ended up 17th, eight points shy of a playoff berth.
Clint Bowyer finished in 8th place.
