Road closures are being announced in and around Emporia.
In town, the 100 block of South Washington will be closed virtually all day Thursday for a water line repair.
Near Olpe, the Lyon County Highway Department is starting a construction project Monday on Road 70 between Roads N and P. Weather permitting, that project could be done by late December.
