A Butler County woman was hurt in a crash in southern Chase County on Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Anne Marie Therese Allen of Augusta was a passenger in a car driven by 22-year-old Noah Calcagno, home state not listed. Calcagno was southbound on the Kansas Turnpike and nearing the Matfield Green service area when the car hydroplaned, spun and left the highway shortly before 5:40 pm.
Allen suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken to Newman Regional Health for observation and treatment. Calcagno was listed with possible injuries and was not listed as going to a hospital afterward. Both were wearing seatbelts.
